Marvelous technique, amazing speed, extraordinary attention to the way each note is played, colorful melodies, and beautiful pieces are characteristics of the music of Kayvan Saket. Solo or orchestral, his music has always surprised the audience with innovations. In recent years, Saket has quickly turned into an icon for the music-deprived younger generation who demands the unusual. He has achieved this by various means – from revival of the forgotten works of the old masters of Iranian classical music such as Vaziri to playing the all-time famous works of the masters of the western classical music such as Mozart.

Saket started his first “tar” lessons while in elementary school. His classmates still remember how enthusiastically he used every opportunity to play music at school on various occasions. His resolve, his great work habits, and his dedication to excellence turned him into a quite capable musician as early as his teenage years.
